Significance of Walima

Walima is a highly recommended Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is a celebration feast held after the Nikah is solemnized.

Can be held on the same day as Nikah

Or any day after Nikah

Traditionally held within 7 days

**Invite Muslims**

Include friends, family, and the poor

**Provide Good Food**

Even if simple, the food should be wholesome

**Do Not Waste**

Avoid extravagance while celebrating

**Dua (Prayers)**

Make prayers for the couple's happiness
